The configuration variable BB_ DVDRAWINGSYMBOLSVIEWDEPENDENT manages view independent versus view dependent drawing symbols.

When set to 0 or undefined (default), the plan symbol in a compound cell is interpreted as view dependent.

When set to 1, the default plan symbol in a compound cell is interpreted as view independent.

This applies to the plan symbols created during the create compound cell process. This behavior switch applies to compound cell plan symbols in Building dynamic views.
